Schools & Groups

Based from our Outdoor Education Centre at Wandlebury Country Park, near Cambridge, we provide fun-filled educational experiences for over 1,100 children a year, from pre-school to key stage 1 & 2.

Led by our team of enthusiastic and experienced field teachers, the emphasis is on practical, hands-on investigations and open air activities. We offer a science/nature programme and Iron-Age experience. We can also arrange Bushcraft.

Programmes are linked to the National Curriculum and all our activities are risk assessed. We also offer/adapt our programme for youth groups.

In 2024 visiting teachers scored:

  • Our teaching: 9.7 out of 10
  • Student learning: 9.6 out of 10
  • Student experience: 9.7 out of 10

98% of teachers said they would recommend us to others and would come back again. Comments included: 'It was all fabulous - I think we should make this a regular trip!', 'favourite trip of the year', 'staff are very knowledgeable'. 'excellent group sizes', & 'lovely new pond'.
