Each of these three new sculptural seats will be hand-carved by a woodcarver craftsman from a single piece of sequoia redwood. These beautifully sculpted reclining outdoor wooden seats are for people to watch migrating birds, clouds, tree-tops and the comings and goings of the sky. They will be placed in a quiet area of the walled garden at Wandlebury.

We all need the chance to take some time out for a mindful moment, look up at the clouds and listen to the sounds of nature all around and these seats offer a good way to remember someone special to you. They can be enjoyed on your own or in company.

An inscription can be hand carved onto the back of each seat - ten words are included in the order price but if you would like more words please get in touch for a quote. If you have any questions or would like to view the location of the seats, please get in touch at [email protected]

There is a minimum donation of £5,000 for each seat which goes towards the cost of making the seat, a ten word inscription (more words are available for an extra fee), delivery, installation and the care and maintenance of the seat and area for five years. It is also a donation towards our charitable work to protect the beauty of Cambridge and its environment.

Please note that these are unique crafted artworks made individually and consequently you may have to wait up to 3 months for the seat to be delivered and displayed.
